David Mendoza was born to make music. When he picks up the violin and begins to play for you, a great yearning rises within you suspending time and expanding space around you. David’s music opens a portal to other worlds where passion, empowerment, communion, freedom and, ultimately, peace converge. Growing up in a family of musicians, David and his extraordinary musical gifts were recognized and natured. With singer parents, listening all their opera practicing, and all the classic composers sounding around during his childhood, he became in a natural and very melodic composer, and interpreter in a young age. In his own words, - The pure sound of a violin occurs when we imitate the human voice. By the age of five he started playing piano, finding the composition intuitively, by seven he found the violin, finding his soul instrument, by age of thirteen he decided to become in a drummer, trying with classic rock groove drums like John Bonham and more, becoming gradually in a jazz drummer. Now, he moves comfortably between several instruments and genres including Rock, Jazz, Tango, Classical, Hungarian, Brazilian, New Age, Italian, French and more! David’s dream for his future cannot be separated from the cosmic images his compositions continually reveal to him. Earth, air, fire, and water are part of an infinite universe that finds its way into his music. Michael Hoppe, a prominent Grammy nominated composer, praised David as .. “Wonderfully expressive violin playing is ... quite simply one of the most beautiful sounds one can hear.” The distinct and varied moods, strong rhythms, and combinations of instrumentation heard throughout Mendoza’s music--dark, driving, playful, troubling, fearful, delivering, uplifting, radiant, serene--powerfully influence what is experienced. His live performances, especially, elicit and illuminate. His own artistic creations, there is such a profound connection felt, and a desire to respond.

There are gifts of transcendent beauty in everyday life, but there are also uncommon, life- changing moments offered by prophetic artists speaking powerfully to this day and these times.

For this concert David and his rock sextet will share “The Beatles Concert”, performing instrumental Mendoza´s Arrangements from the music of the Liverpool Quartet. The terrific band of David will be made up by the talented Mexican Pianist Carlos Vargas on keyboard, the terrific bass player Edgar Bord, the incredible American guitarist Anthony Duncan, the phenomenal Fidel Flores on the lead Guitar, the amazing drummer from San Miguel Israel Chavez, Patricia Diaz (David’s Mother) on vocals & directed by David Mendoza, sharing his Violin & Drums skills through The Beatles’s music. This will take place in the absolutely gorgeous Terrace of the Vivali Ristorante-Bar, sharing 2 concerts in the most wonderful small city to live in the world. Vivali will share an special and delicious 2 course (optional) dinner after the concert.
