David Mendoza : A virtuoso multi-instrumentalist from and trained in México city, better know for his expressive way or playing and touch souls healing people with his music. He used to played with several musicians in San Miguel de Allende and México city, included the Grammy nominee Michael Hoppè that describes David as “wonderfully expressive violin playing”,quite simlply “one of the most beautifull sounds one can here in San Miguel de Allende” Being David his violinist since 2017 in álbumes as well as performing in his local concerts.

For this concert David will share American Folk Music sharing stage with his blood family with Patricia Díaz on the Soprano Voice, Ignacio A. Mendoza on the Baritone Voice and his talented brother on the Stand Bass Arturo Mendoza. They will play music from composers like Consuelo Velazques, Agustín Lara, Silvio Rodriguez, as well as music from the well known interpreters like Mercedes Sosa, Chabela Vargas as well as Lila Downs.

This will take place on the gorgeous garden of “Tres Fuentes Hotel Boutique” in Baeza # 7 Centro SMA, in an intimate and very high level concert in San Miguel de Allende, the heart of Mèxico. Plus a very delicious and special (optional) Dinner by Tres Fuentes Restaurant.

Lorelei Capell: Originally from Chicago, Lorelei tought on the piano faculty of De Paul University, presented weekly concerts at the Art Institute of Chicago, and was pianist with the Chicago Symphony Percussion ensemble, she also worked as pianist on the Queen Elizabeth II. She came to live in San Miguel in 2012, and currently is music director for the
community church of San Miguel.
