David's music opens a portal to other worlds where passion, empowerment, communion, freedom and, ultimately, peace converge. Growing up in a family of musicians, in Mexico City, David's extraordinary musical gifts were recognized and nurtured. By age of five, he was playing piano by ear, composing original music since then, at 7 he starts playing violin, and by age thirteen, drums. Now, he moves comfortably between several instruments and genres including Rock, Jazz, Flamenco, Tango, Classical, New Age, Minimal and more. David's dream for his future cannot be separated from the cosmic images his compositions continually reveal to him. Earth, air, fire, and water are part of an infinite universe that finds its way into his music. Michael Hoppe, a prominent Grammy nominee musician, praised David saying, “Wonderfully expressive violin playing, is quite simply one of the most beautiful sounds one can hear." Being David his violinist since 2017 in álbumes as well as performing in his local concerts. The distinct and varied moods, strong rhythms, and combinations of instrumentation heard throughout David's music--dark, driving, playful, troubling, fearful, delivering, uplifting, radiant, serene--powerfully influence what is experienced. His live performances, especially, elicit and illuminate one's own artistic creations, there is such a profound connection felt, and a desire to respond. There are gifts of transcendent beauty in everyday life, but there are also uncommon, life-changing moments offered by prophetic artists speaking powerfully to this day and these times. All this magic created by the Mexican composer and multi-instrumentalist David Mendoza would make you cry in tears of hope and joy. For this concert he will share a very special Christmas Concert, playing Christmas Carols and Classic Music by wonderful composers like J.Sebastian Bach, Jules Massenet, Gustav Mahler and more…Mendoza will perform this marvelous music beside the talented Sharon Itoi at piano from Japan, David’s amazing parents Ignacio Arturo Mendoza Islas on Baritone Voice, Patricia Diaz Becerra on soprano Voice from Mexico City. This will take place on the gorgeous garden of “Tres Fuentes Hotel Boutique” in Baeza # 7 Centro SMA, in an intimate and very high level concert in San Miguel de Allende, the heart of Mèxico.
