The amazing mexican violin player David Mendoza is a San Miguel de Allende treasure, he is a very well loved musician in San Miguel since 2015 he started playing with the virtuoso of the guitar Gil Gutierrez. David’s talent usually exceeds the expectations of people who listen him for the first time, The emotion that he exudes when he plays each note makes people vibrate and makes them feel on another level, Or in his own words, -“ Music is an eternal meditation, A profound healing in which dreams can be born, that will create a better reality”.

He is the only musician in town that can play almost every genre, between classic music, tangos, south-american folk music, flamenco, jazz, rock, new age,modern music and more. He understands music very well, being a composer and multi-instrumentalist he knows how to direct his musicians to make a very unique show for his crowd. David has been praised by one of the best composers of the last century Michael Hoppè as “Wonderfully expressive violin playing…It’s quite simple…one of the most wonderful sounds you can hear”.

For his next concert he and his musicians will share “A romantic music concert”. Playing some of people’s favorite genres, American Romantic Classics of Frank Sinatra, new age love tunes of the great Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi as well as famous Mexican love songs. This beside the talented Mexican pianist Ulises Bravo, the amazing Mexican drummer Isaac Villagómez, David’s brother Arturo Mendoza on the Double Bass as well as special singer guests: Fil Formicola from New Jersey, David’s mother Patricia Díaz, and his father Ignacio Arturo Mendoza.

People use to bring his guests as an A list of entretainers in San Miguel de Allende, and they always leave mesmerized by this true prodigy. His music leaves people in a state of euphoria, each performance filled with love and so much raw talent that it’s an overwhelming privilege to be invited to these beautiful venue listening to this master of the violin. San Miguel de Allende is a true musical arts community and David is not to be missed, so if you are visiting for the first time or you are blessed to live here, please treat yourself to an evening of pure musical appreciation and delicious food.

This will take place in the beautiful garden of “ Tres Fuentes Hotel boutique” at Baeza # 7 Centro SMA, at the back of the gorgeous Parque Benito Juárez. An intimate outdoor venue with comfortable seating for no more than 100 people.

Tickets are available on Biblioteca pública Insurgentes # 25 Centro SMA as well as in the Lobby of Tres Fuentes Hotel. You can choose to see only the concert or join us for the dinner as well.
